Gilding metal clad steel strip is a new composite metal material. Its base metal is low carbon steel, copper is a composite layer. The copper & steel composite material not only has copper's high thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, but also have advantages of steel like high strength, good ductility and low cost.
The manufacturing process as following :
Using sand paper to polish the surface of copper and steel → imposing 130T pressure on the copper and steel to make them cohesive → anneal process → slit large coils into the strips you want.
