Hastelloy refers to a series of Ni-Mo-based alloys developed for resistance to hydrochloric acid corrosion. Ni-Mo-Fe series alloys can withstand hydrochloric acid corrosion below 70℃. On this basis, increase the Mo content (19~28%) and reduce the Fe content (20~5%), then it can be used for boiling hydrochloric acid of any concentration. It also has good corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and even hydrofluoric acid.
