Container Throughput Of Yangshan Port Last Year Reached 19.808 Million TEUs

Yangshan Port has become one of the few ports in Asia capable of berthing ships of this class. Larger container vessels and denser routes have resulted in huge throughput.

In 2019, Yangshan Port completed over 10 million TEUs in water and water, an increase of over 9.5% year-on-year. In 2019, natural gas terminals berthed 66 ships, a year-on-year increase of 24.5%, a total unload of 3.82 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 20.5%, and the gas supply accounted for more than 50% of Shanghai. At the same time, Yangshan Port provided natural gas transfer services to Zhejiang and established a natural gas emergency mutual protection mechanism with Jiangsu, which has become an important part of the Yangtze River Delta interconnection.
