Technical Information of Hardfacing Electrode Surfacing Welding Rod:
Hardfacing electrode surfacing welding rod is a high chromium cast iron surfacing welding electrode with low-hydrogen sodium coating, which adopts DCEP connection method. It has good welding performance with relatively smooth arc, low spatter level, less slag and effortless slag removal ability. The surfacing layer is difficult to be cut even with alloy cutter, so it can only be ground. Metallographic structure is martensite and coarse composite carbide.

Packaging of Hardfacing electrode surfacing welding rod:
Shanghai Metal Corporation Products are packed and labeled according to the regulations and customer's requests. Great care is taken to avoid any damage which might be caused during storage or transportation. In addition, clear labels are tagged on the outside of the packages for easy identification of the product I. D. and quality information.
1)SMC Standard
2)Customization
Precautions:
1. Before welding, the welding electrode should be baked at 300-350℃ for 1h.
2. The work piece must be preheated at 400-600℃, and the rust and oil stain on the work piece shall be removed before surfacing.
3. The length of each surfacing should be within 50 - 70 mm as possible.
4. After welding, the work piece should be tempered at 600-700℃ for 1 hour and then cooled slowly, or immediately put into a dry and preheated sand box or grass ash for slow cooling after welding.
