Shanghai Metal Corporation is a leading Sintered flux manufacturer and supplier.
Sintered flux refers to a high-quality, efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly flux. It refers to processing the prepared wet solder into the required particles, calcining them at a high temperature of 750-1000 ℃ to form small particles, and obtaining sintered solder. This flux is smokeless, odorless, arc free, and splash free during welding. The production and manufacturing process has no environmental pollution, low energy consumption, and sufficient utilization of raw materials.

2. Use and preservation of welding flux:
High silicon and high manganese flux is an acidic flux used in conjunction with low-carbon steel welding wires or manganese containing welding wires, and is mostly used for welding low-carbon steel and certain low alloy steels. But it is not suitable for welding structures with good low-temperature toughness.
Medium silicon flux has a higher alkalinity, so it can obtain weld metal with better toughness. This type of flux, combined with appropriate welding wires, can be used for welding alloy structural steel.
Low silicon flux has basically no oxidation effect on the metal. It can be used in conjunction with corresponding welding wires to weld high alloy steel.
To ensure welding quality, attention should be paid to preventing moisture when storing the flux. Before using the welding flux, it should be dried according to regulations, and immediately used after drying. The drying temperature of acidic soldering flux such as HJ431 is 250 ℃, and the insulation time is 1-2 hours; The drying temperature of alkaline soldering flux should be higher, such as the drying temperature of HJ250 being 300-400 ℃ and insulation for 2 hours. The recycled flux needs to be removed from the slag shell.
