Hastelloy C276 has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. and Hastelloy C276 Has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion. The higher content of Mo and Cr makes the alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion, and the W element further improves the corrosion resistance. Meanwhile, Hastelloy C-276 alloy is one of the few materials that is resistant to corrosion from humid chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide solutions, and has significant corrosion resistance to high concentration chloride solutions such as iron chloride and copper chloride. Suitable for sulfuric acid solutions of various concentrations, it is one of the few materials that can be applied to hot concentrated sulfuric acid solutions.

A:Standard supply includes EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate covering chemical composition and mechanical test results. Third‑party witnessed 3.2 report is available when you place request before order confirmation.

Q2.What information do you need for accurate quotation?

A:Please provide tube type (seamless or welded), outer diameter, wall thickness, required length, order weight or quantity, execution standard, destination port and required certification documents.

Q3.What is your MOQ for Hastelloy C276 tube?

A:For stock standard dimension, MOQ is 300 kg. For non‑stock customized dimension, minimum batch follows one melting heat, about 500‑1000 kg, affected by billet production setup cost.

Q4.How long does sample preparation take?

A:Small cut‑to‑size samples take 5‑8 working days; full‑length tube samples need to be evaluated based on existing stock condition.

Q5.What is the practical difference between seamless and welded Hastelloy C276 tube for my project?

A: Seamless tube has no welding seam, higher pressure resistance, suitable for high‑pressure corrosive medium; welded tube supports larger diameter and lower unit cost, for low‑pressure circulating pipelines. If your working pressure exceeds 1.6 MPa, seamless version is recommended.

Q6.Which working condition is not suitable for Hastelloy C276 tube?

A:It cannot sustain long‑term service in molten alkali‑metal environment. Under high‑temperature dry fluoride gas, its corrosion‑resistance performance will drop significantly; you need select alternative alloy grade for these two conditions.
