Nitinol rope is formed by winding two or several nitinol wires together. It is known for its thermomechanical properties of superelasticity and shape memory effect. Shape memory refers to the ability of nickel-titanium alloys to deform at a certain temperature and then return to their original formed shape when heated above their transformation temperature. Superelasticity occurs in a narrow temperature range slightly above its transformation temperature; in this case, no heating is required to restore the formed shape, and the material exhibits enormous elasticity, about 10-30 times that of ordinary metals. Nickel titanium alloy rope is a spiral rope made by twisting nickel titanium wires that meet the mechanical properties and geometric dimensions requirements according to certain rules. Nickel titanium rope has high tensile strength, fatigue resistance, and impact toughness. Nickel titanium rope is corrosion-resistant, lightweight, stable in operation, less prone to sudden breakage, safe and reliable, and has good biocompatibility. Memory alloys not only have unique shape memory functions, but also have excellent characteristics such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high damping, and super elasticity. Widely used in the medical industry, such as orthopedic instruments, dental instruments, spine, endoscopic manipulation, snares, etc.
