Rainwater storage modules are made of polypropylene material in the form of grid-like flat panels of various sizes. By assembling them into modular sized boxes, each box is placed into a continuous rainwater ‘matrix’ pool. Because of its grid permeable structure, the structure of the material takes up less than 5% of the space, i.e. the water storage space of the module reaches more than 95%, and rainwater can be exchanged and flowed freely in it. The rainwater storage module is installed directly below the ground, does not take up the ground space, it can block the sunlight irradiation, and the module material is reliable, so it can store the rainwater for a long time without deterioration. The modules are assembled flexibly, simply and robustly, and the pressure capacity of a single module is up to 30 tons/square metre, which is safe and reliable.
Installation process of rainwater storage module: foundation treatment → non-woven fabric / HDPE geomembrane paving → module positioning and placing → drainage board installation → pipe and module connection → foundation backfill and tamping → finished product protection.
