2304 stainless steel is a duplex stainless steel composed of 22% chromium, 0.3% molybdenum and 4.5% nickel-nitrogen alloys. The remarkable feature of this stainless steel is its excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, and even in some cases, its performance can be comparable to high nickel alloys.
In addition to its excellent corrosion resistance, 2304 stainless steel also has high strength and good toughness, which makes it excellent in the manufacture of various equipment components that withstand heavy loads and complex stresses.
