A: Please provide required diameter, length, surface finish, heat‑treatment condition, smelting requirement, order weight and destination port.

Q2.What is your sample preparation lead‑time?

A: Conventional size samples take 3‑7 working days. Special non‑standard dimension samples need 10‑15 working days.

Q3.What quality documents can you supply together with goods?

A: We provide MTR material test report including chemical analysis and mechanical test data, ultrasonic test record, heat number traceability document.

Q4.What is the difference between solution‑treated and solution‑aged Inconel 718 rod?

A: Solution‑treated rod has lower hardness for heavy machining. Solution‑aged rod achieves final high strength, customers should finish machining before ageing treatment.

Q5.What factors should I consider to select proper Inconel718 rod for aerospace project?

A: Confirm smelting type (VIM‑VAR vacuum remelting is required for aerospace critical parts), NDT requirement, heat‑treatment specification and allowable dimensional tolerance before placing order.

Q6.Can Inconel 718 rod continuously work above 700℃ long‑term?

A: It is not recommended. Inconel718 maintains good creep‑rupture performance mainly below 650‑700℃; service above this temperature will shorten service life significantly.
