The purple copper bar got its name because of its purplish red color. It is not necessarily pure copper and is sometimes added with a small amount of deoxidization or other elements to improve the material and properties, so it is also classified as a copper alloy.
Good electrical, thermal, corrosion and machining properties, welding and brazing. Containing less impurities to reduce the conductivity and heat conduction, trace oxygen has little effect on the conductivity, heat conduction and processing properties, but it is easy to cause "hydrogen disease" and should not be at high temperature and use in reducing atmosphere.

A: The temper choice depends on your manufacturing process. Choose 'O' (Annealed) if your process requires extensive bending, shaping, or cold forming. Select '1/2H' or 'H' (Hard) if the bar will be used as a structural component requiring high rigidity, straightness, and precise CNC machining.
Q2.What is the difference between C1020, C1100, and C1220 copper bars?
A: C1020 is Oxygen-Free Copper with the highest purity and conductivity, ideal for high-end electronics and vacuum applications. C1100 is Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) Copper, offering excellent conductivity for general electrical components. C1220 is Phosphorus-Deoxidized Copper, which has superior welding and brazing properties, making it suitable for plumbing and structural joining.
Q3.How do you prevent the copper bars from oxidizing during long international sea freight?
A: We use a multi-layer anti-oxidation packaging system. The bars are wrapped in VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) paper and PE film, then packed in sealed wooden cases with desiccants to keep the moisture out.

A: To provide an accurate quotation, we need the specific copper grade (e.g., C1100), temper, cross-sectional shape, precise diameter/dimensions, length per piece, total order quantity, and your required trade terms and destination port.

A: Our standard Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is generally 500 kg per size for standard dimensions. Production lead time is typically 15-25 working days after order confirmation, depending on the mill's current schedule and specific requirements.
Q6.What quality standards does the product meet, and what testing is performed?
A: Our copper bars meet international standards such as ASTM, EN, and JIS. Before shipment, we conduct rigorous testing including Hardness testing, Tensile Strength analysis, Elongation tests, Metal-Detector scanning for internal flaws, Conductivity testing, and Chemical Content spectrometry.
