However, due to its high price, in practical use, titanium-based platinized anode is more commonly used. Shanghai Metal Corporation uses electroplating process to platinize the titanium substrate and composite materials like titanium clad copper after special surface treatment, which can be fully or partially platinized. We can also make platinum plating on composite materials such as titanium clad copper. We can also produce platinum-coated titanium electrodes, which are coated at high temperature and come in various shapes. The platinum content is 12gsm, and the thickness of platinum layer is 0.2-5μm. It is mainly used for conductive contact under high current environment and for the preparation of acidic and alkaline ionic water.
