High Silicon Cast Iron Anode is a critical component in impressed current cathodic protection systems, renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance in harsh environments. It provides long-term, stable electrochemical protection for underground or submerged metal structures through the formation of a stable hydrated SiO₂ protective film on its surface.
The superior corrosion resistance of high silicon cast iron stems from the formation of a comprehensive protective film containing large-area hydrated SiO₂. The addition of chromium or chromium with molybdenum enables application in corrosive chloride environments, making it the preferred auxiliary anode material for impressed current cathodic protection systems worldwide. We support customized production according to specific requirements for length, diameter, and chemical composition to meet diverse project needs.
