Notes:

 

1. Precautions for heat treatment: It has high hardenability and hardenability, and is suitable for graded quenching or isothermal quenching, which can reduce deformation during heat treatment. During the quenching process, the cooling rate and temperature should be controlled to avoid cracking or deformation. In addition, there is a tendency for decarburization during heating, and heating should be carried out in a neutral or protective atmosphere to reduce carbon loss.

 

2. Tempering treatment: Tempering stability is high, so appropriate temperature and time should be selected during tempering to ensure the performance of the steel. For high-precision workpieces, tempering (aging) should be carried out again after rough grinding to eliminate internal stress.

 

3. Chemical composition and mechanical properties: Its chemical composition and mechanical properties have a direct impact on its application. For example, the distribution and quantity of carbides can affect the hardness, wear resistance, and toughness of steel. Therefore, the proportion of chemical components should be strictly controlled during the heat treatment process to ensure the expected performance indicators are achieved.‌
