Notes:
When any of the following situations occur with the hook, it should be scrapped:
1. Cracks;
2. The wear of the dangerous section reaches 10% of the original size;
3. The opening degree has increased by 15% compared to the original size;
4. Twisted deformation exceeding 10 °
5. Plastic deformation occurs in the dangerous section or hook neck;
6. When the wear of the board hook bushing reaches 50% of the original size, the bushing should be scrapped;
7. When the wear of the board hook spindle reaches 50% of the original size, the spindle should be scrapped.
Safety inspection of hooks
1. The hook used for manually driven lifting mechanisms is tested with 1.5 times the rated load as the inspection load.
2. The hook used for the power driven lifting mechanism shall be tested with twice the rated load as the inspection load.
3. After removing the inspection load from the hook, there should be no obvious defects or deformations, and the increase in opening should not exceed 0.25% of the original size.
4. Qualified hooks should be marked in the low stress area of the hook, including rated lifting capacity, factory logo or name, inspection mark, production number, etc.
